British singer Ed Sheeran stunned fans in Bengaluru on Sunday morning with an impromptu performance on Church Street. Without any prior notice, the global music sensation began singing on the sidewalk, quickly attracting a crowd. As the crowd grew, Bengaluru Police intervened to control the situation. Surprisingly, the officers on duty did not recognise Ed Sheeran and asked him to halt the performance as he had not secured the required permissions. In a now-viral video, one officer was seen unplugging the microphone while the singer continued to perform. In response, Ed is heard saying that he had already taken the permission to sing here.
