Ajay Devgn is set to return as Vijay Salgaonkar, reprising his iconic role in Drishyam 3, where he once again fights to protect his family. The actor will be seen locking horns with Tabu’s character, IG Meera Deshmukh. On December 22, 2025, the first promo of Drishyam 3, along with its release date, was unveiled. The teaser offers glimpses of a tense Vijay putting on a brave face while plotting to outsmart the police using his trademark intelligence.

The Drishyam franchise, inspired by Mohanlal’s Malayalam films, has remained hugely successful since the first Hindi instalment released in 2015. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 3 is currently being shot across multiple locations. The original cast, including Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Rajat Kapoor, will return, while new twists promise edge-of-the-seat drama in the Salgaonkar family’s story.
