‘FRIENDS’ star Matthew Perry’s tragic death is back in the headlines. A California doctor linked to the case is set to plead guilty. Dr Salvador Plasencia admitted to supplying ketamine to the actor. He faces up to 40 years in prison Federal prosecutors say Plasencia provided Perry with the drug that played a role in his death.

He is one of five accused in the case. Another doctor, Mark Chavez, also pleaded guilty in 2024. Reports say the two doctors conspired to supply Perry with ketamine for profit. The group is accused of exploiting Perry’s struggles with depression and addiction. They allegedly sold him high doses of the drug. Perry’s assistant was reportedly taught how to administer it. In October 2023, Perry was found dead in his Los Angeles home’s hot tub. The case has shocked fans worldwide. The guilty plea could finally bring some closure.
