Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Animal’ turned out to be a massive box-office success. However, before Rashmika was approached to play the female lead, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had envisioned Parineeti Chopra for the role. Parineeti recently opened up about her decision to step away from ‘Animal’ and choose ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ because both films’ shooting dates were clashing. She expressed that she has no regrets about losing the role to Rashmika Mandanna and stands by her choice. She said, “To be honest, I think higher power had something better for me. I was making that film; almost everything worked out. But on the same dates, I was offered ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’.”
