Diljit Dosanjh recently criticised the Telangana government after receiving a notice prohibiting him from singing songs advocating alcohol, drugs, or violence during a concert in Hyderabad. In return, the singer changed the words of some of his songs. However, Diljit took advantage of the opportunity to attack the government for imposing such limits on him, despite the fact that international artists performing in the city face no such restrictions.
He said, “Some people cannot digest the fact that such big shows are happening, that tickets are getting sold out in two minutes… Bro, I’ve been working for many many years now. I have not become famous in a day.”
