Sunny Deol announced the sequel to the iconic 1997 film ‘Border’ on its 27th release anniversary. The film stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. According to Buzz Alerts sources, Diljit is charging Rs 7 crore for his role in the film.

About ‘Border 2’

The sequel will be produced by filmmaker JP Dutta, who also directed the original, alongside his daughter Nidhi Dutt under JP Films. Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series will also produce the movie. The highly anticipated film is set to release in theatres on January 23, 2026.
