Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has landed in controversy after receiving a threat from the Khalistani outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ). The warning came after he was seen touching Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan’s feet during an upcoming episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati. SFJ chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannun claimed the act insulted victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and warned that the group would attempt to shut down Dosanjh’s concert in Australia on November 1.
Diljit Dosanjh Gets Threat
The group alleged that Amitabh Bachchan incited violence during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and claimed that Diljit’s gesture insulted the victims of that tragedy. SFJ stated it would protest and stop his concerts in Australia as a mark of opposition. So far, Diljit has not issued any public response and continues with his international Aura Tour.
