Delhi was hit last night with sandstorm, hailstorm and intense rain last night. At least two people, including a man with disabilities, were killed and 11 others injured after a sudden sandstorm and heavy rain hit Delhi last night. The storm caused chaos across the city and nearby areas.

Around 7:50 pm, an electric pole collapsed near Lodhi Road flyover and fell on a man riding a tricycle. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead. His identity is not yet confirmed.
In Gokulpuri, northeast Delhi, a 22-year-old man named Azhar died after a tree fell on him. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but couldn’t survive.
Six people were injured in Mukherjee Nagar after a portion of an old overbridge grill collapsed.
In separate incidents, balconies collapsed in Kashmiri Gate and Mangolpuri, injuring five more.
Meanwhile, over 200 passengers on an IndiGo flight to Srinagar faced terrifying turbulence. The flight landed safely, but a viral photo showed damage to the aircraft’s nose.
