Shah Rukh Khan’s next film ‘King’ is already making headlines! The movie is touted to be an action-thriller and will also star SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, marking her big-screen debut. ‘King’ was earlier set to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh but Siddharth Anand took over. As per the latest reports, Deepika Padukone has been offered a special role in the movie. Will this mark SRK and Deepika’s reunion after ‘Jawan’?
Deepika roped in for SRK’s ‘King’
As per several reports, Deepika will portray the mother of Suhana Khan’s character and the former lover of Shah Rukh Khan’s character. The reports also state that, although her role is an extended cameo, it is integral to the plot and serves as the primary conflict in the storyline. Both Shah Rukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand were keen on casting Deepika for this special character.
