The controversy around ‘Spirit’, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next film, continues to grow. Deepika Padukone was reportedly dropped due to “unprofessional” behaviour and payment issues. Days later, Vanga took to X with a cryptic post. He accused Deepika of breaking a “non-disclosure agreement” and playing “dirty PR games.” He also questioned her stance on feminism.

The filmmaker added the hashtag #dirtyPRgames. Sources said Deepika Padukone refused to work more than six hours a day and pushed for changes to the contract. Triptii Dimri has now been cast as the female lead opposite Prabhas. She earlier worked with Vanga in ‘Animal’. Production for Spirit hasn’t started yet. After it wraps, Vanga is expected to begin work on ‘Animal Park’.
