Deepika Padukone is reportedly set to earn the biggest paycheck of her career. The actor has reportedly been roped in for ‘Spirit’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. According to a report by India Today Digital, the actress is charging Rs 20 crore for the film. The movie also stars Prabhas in the lead. While there’s no official confirmation yet, the buzz has caught attention for possibly surpassing the fee charged by her husband, Ranveer Singh.

Deepika’s highest pay check ever

The film may also mark Deepika’s second collaboration with Prabhas after Kalki 2898 AD. Earlier, she had reportedly declined the role due to scheduling conflicts, as the original shooting timeline clashed with her pregnancy. As per Pinkvilla, ‘Spirit’ was initially scheduled to start filming in late 2024. A source said Deepika had to say no because the dates didn’t work out. But with the schedule now pushed, she’s said to be back in talks and reconsidering the role.
