CSK vs MI: Hardik Pandya Ban From Playing Team’s Opening Match

Hardik Pandya

On Sunday’s double header game, Mumbai Indians will take on Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Unfortunately, MI’s captain Hardik Pandya will miss out his team’s opening match due to a ban over him.

Ban On Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya’s absence is due to a one-match ban imposed after MI’s slow-over rate offense during their final group-stage game against Lucknow Super Giants last season. In his place, Suryakumar Yadav, captain of India’s T20I team, will lead the side.

CSK vs MI Toss Update

Chennai Super Kings captain Rituraj Gaikwad won the toss and has opted to bowl.
