On Sunday, Maharashtra Minister Uday Samant expressed concerns over a scene in the upcoming film ‘Chhaava’, where Vicky Kaushal, portraying Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, is shown dancing. In response, the film’s director, Laxman Utekar, announced that after meeting with Raj Thackeray, he had decided to remove the scene from the film.

Why remove the song?

The decision to remove the part comes after Minister Uday Samant’s suggestion that the movie be reviewed by historians and scholars to ensure it doesn’t contain any objectionable content.
