The veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89 and was cremated on November 24, 2025, at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai. His passing occurred a week after he was discharged from the hospital. The final rites were held in the presence of his family, including his wife Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol, and were attended by several leading Bollywood stars who gathered to pay their last respects.

Among the major names present were Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Anil Kapoor, followed by Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and Sanjay Dutt. Other industry personalities such as Salim Khan, Zayed Khan, Rajkumar Santoshi, Anil Sharma, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and many others also attended to honour the legendary actor.
