Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s romantic comedy ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ will no longer hit theatres. The movie was earlier supposed to release on May 9, but will now release directly on OTT. Maddock, the production house behind the film, shared an official statement announcing the delay. The team said that they have taken the decision due to the India-Pakistan tension.

The movie will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 16. Directed by Karan Sharma, the time-loop rom-com set in Varanasi follows Ranjan (Rao), a hopeless romantic trapped in a loop reliving his Haldi ceremony before marrying Titli (Gabbi). It should also be noted that, the advance booking numbers of Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi starrer were extremely low.
