Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) announced Rs 25 lakh for each of the 11 families who lost loved ones in the Bengaluru stampede on 4 June. The tragedy happened during celebrations after RCB beat Punjab Kings, when thousands of fans crowded the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and the parade route. The large crowd caused chaos, leaving 11 dead and over 50 injured. RCB offered deep condolences and promised continued support to the families.

RCB CARES Initiative Begins
RCB stated that the Rs 25 lakh compensation is the first step of the RCB CARES programme, a long-term effort to honour the victims of the stampede. The franchise emphasised compassion, unity, and ongoing support for the families of the victims.
