The BCCI has officially written an email to ACC chief Mohsin Naqvi, asking him to hand over the Asia Cup trophy to India immediately. The issue began after India’s players refused to accept the trophy from Naqvi following their win against Pakistan. The BCCI says it will escalate the matter to the ICC if no response is received soon.

The trophy is still at the ACC office in Dubai. Naqvi reportedly asked BCCI officials to collect it in person, a proposal India rejected. The Sri Lanka and Afghanistan boards have supported the BCCI’s stance, urging a quick resolution. The disagreement has strained ties between the boards and clouded India’s Asia Cup victory.
