The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has ended its sponsorship agreement with Dream11. The move follows the passing of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill in Parliament last week. With the Asia Cup starting soon in the UAE, Team India is currently without a jersey sponsor. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed to ‘ANI’ that the board will not sign deals with such companies in the future.

Dream11 officials visited the BCCI office in Mumbai to inform the board that they would step away from the contract, according to ‘The Indian Express’. With the partnership concluded, BCCI is expected to issue a new tender in the coming days to secure a fresh sponsor.
