He claimed that his game was unfairly reduced to romantic storylines, particularly involving Nehal Chudasama. Despite his frustration, Baseer described Bigg Boss 19 as a learning experience but maintained that many contestants lacked genuine personality and leadership.

In an interview, Baseer said he entered the show to prove his individuality, not to be trapped in “love angles.” Addressing his bond with Nehal, Baseer clarified that their connection was based on humanity, not strategy. He revealed that after leaving the house, he felt betrayed upon seeing videos suggesting Nehal and Farrhana had planned to use him for the game. “I found it very hurtful. At present, I’m not in the emotional state to talk to them,” he said.
