Astronomer CEO Andy Byron has been placed on leave after a video showed him with the company’s HR head, Kristin Cabot, on a kiss cam during a Coldplay concert. The clip went viral online and has led to many questions. Sources confirmed that the company is looking into the matter. So far, neither Byron nor Cabot has made any public statement about the video.
Company Issues Statement
Astronomer shared a statement saying it has started an internal investigation. The company also said no other employee was part of the incident. Co-founder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy has now taken over as interim CEO while the investigation continues. More updates will be shared soon, the company said.
