Amitabh Bachchan has dethroned Shah Rukh Khan to become the highest tax-paying celebrity in India for the financial year 2024-2025. SRK was previously India’s highest tax-paying celebrity for the financial year 2023-2024, contributing Rs 92 crore in taxes.

Senior Bachchan continues to rule Bollywood and has reportedly paid Rs 120 crore in tax for the financial year 2024-2025. The report also said that Big B earned Rs 350 crore this year, and his income comes from various TV and film projects, endorsements, and his TV show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. The veteran actor paid his last instalment of tax worth Rs 52.50 crore on March 15, 2025.
