Amitabh Bachchan is making big moves in Ayodhya’s luxury real estate scene. He recently bought a 25,000 sq ft plot worth Rs 40 crore. This is his fourth major investment in the temple town. The land is close to ‘Sarayu’, a premium project where he had earlier spent Rs 14.5 crore.

Big B’s real estate profile

Ayodhya’s real estate boom picked up after the Ram Mandir project took off. Just before this latest purchase, Bachchan also invested Rs 20 crore in a firm owned by producer Anand Pandit.

Last year, he bought a smaller plot for Rs 4.54 crore. He also owns a 54,000 sq ft plot under a trust named after his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Reports say a memorial is planned there. The Bachchans continue expanding their portfolio across India. They recently purchased 10 flats in the Oberoi Eternia project in Mulund West, Mumbai. The total value of these flats was approximately Rs 24.95 crore, with each flat averaging around Rs 2.49 crore.
