Ahmed Khan’s ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has been in production since December 2023. The film boasts a massive ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, and others. Initially set for a Christmas 2024 release, it now faces delays. According to reports, several shoot schedules have been cancelled last minute over the past six months. Financial and logistical issues are said to be the cause.
Welcome to the Jungle faces financial woes
Around 60% of the film is complete, while 40% is still pending. Some actors have reportedly exited the project. Others are staying on out of loyalty to the Welcome franchise. Scheduling has become difficult due to the large cast and repeated delays. Sanjay Dutt has also stepped away from the film. He cited date issues and script changes. Despite this, he remains on good terms with Akshay Kumar. Fans now await clarity on when production will resume and if the film can stick to a new timeline.
