Air India Suspended International Flights; Check Full List

Air India

After the tragic crash of an Air India flight from Ahmedabad to London that killed 241 people, the airline announced major cuts to its international services. The airline will cut 38 weekly flights and suspend services on three overseas routes from June 21 to at least July 15, 2025. The decision follows expanded safety checks on Boeing 787 and 777 jets, as well as disruption caused by Middle East airspace restrictions and night curfews at several airports.

Airline will suspend flights on Delhi-Nairobi (4 times weekly) as well as Amritsar-London Gatwick and Goa (Mopa)-London Gatwick (both 3 times weekly) until July 15.

Alongside the suspensions, Air India will cut frequencies of 16 major international routes connecting North America, Europe, Australia, and the Far East. North American routes affected include Delhi-Toronto, Delhi-Vancouver, Delhi-San Francisco, Delhi-Chicago, and Delhi-Washington D.C.

In a statement, Air India said it reduced flights as a voluntary move to carry out enhanced safety on its Boeing Dreamliner fleet following a DGCA directive after the recent crash. The Airline also apologised for the inconvenience and said it is proactively reaching out to affected passengers to offer rebooking on alternate flights, free rescheduling, or full refunds based on their preferences.
