Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday in connection with the death of a woman in a stampede during the premiere of his blockbuster ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. After being sent to 14-day judicial custody by a local court in Hyderabad, the actor was later granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court. However, he had to spend the night in jail as the prison authorities had not received the official bail copy until late Friday. Reports suggest an issue with the interim bail order, leading to the issuance of a corrected version, which arrived at the prison late. Jail authorities explained that the bail document must be verified, preventing his release that day.
