The Kapoor family is set to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the legendary Raj Kapoor in grand style. To mark this momentous occasion, members of the Kapoor clan visited New Delhi to personally invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to join the festivities. In collaboration with RK Films, the Film Heritage Foundation, and NFDC-National Film Archive of India, a special film festival titled ‘Raj Kapoor 100 – Celebrating the Centenary of the Greatest Showman’ has been organised. From December 13 to 15, Raj Kapoor’s iconic films, including ‘Barsaat’, ‘Shree 420’, ‘Awaara’, ‘Jagte Raho’, ‘Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai’, ‘Mera Naam Joker’, ‘Bobby’, and ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’, will be screened across 40 cities and 135 venues in PVR-Inox and Cinepolis theatres nationwide.
