How many dreams does a person get per night?

Sleep

People normally dream 3 to 6 times per night, each lasting 5 to 20 minutes. This indicates that people can dream for up to two hours per night. Dreams are stories and images formed by the mind while asleep. They can be vivid and evoke emotions such as happiness, sadness, or fear. The most vivid dreams occur during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, which is when the brain is most active. While we sleep, our subconscious mind is capable of processing everything. This attempt to integrate and work through our suppressed memories can lead to vivid, intense, and detailed dreams, as well as disrupted sleep.
