Another Hindu man has been cruelly taken in Bangladesh. Bengali Hindu businessman Khokon Das, 50, met a horrific fate when a mob attacked him and set him on fire in Shariatpur district on December 31. A small medicine shop owner, Das, was reportedly stabbed, beaten, and doused with petrol while returning home — a life ended in unimaginable suffering.

He struggled to survive, plunging into a nearby pond in a desperate attempt to escape, but his injuries were too severe. Despite medical treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, he could not be saved. His heartbroken wife cried out for justice, her words heavy with grief. This brutal incident marks the fourth attack on Hindus in just two weeks, following the killing of garment worker Dipu Chandra Das.
BJP Reacted
The West Bengal BJP condemned the tragedy, describing it as part of a disturbing pattern of violence targeting Bengali Hindus.
After Dipu Chandra Das, now Khokon Das had been attacked and set on fire by an Islamist mob. He has passed away due to his injuries early today morning.
