Another important development was the arrest of two men with a large amount of explosives in a major breakthrough by the Tonk District Special Team (DST) of Rajasthan on Wednesday. Surendra Patwa and Surendra Mochi, both residents of Bundi district, are the accused. They were caught at the Barani police station while transporting explosive materials.
Car Seized in Rajasthan
Police recovered ammonium nitrate weighing 150 kg, which was hidden in urea fertiliser sacks. Additionally, officers seized 200 explosive cartridges and around 1,100 metres of safety fuse wire. The materials were being transported in a Maruti Ciaz car, which has also been confiscated.

DSP Mrityunjay Mishra confirmed that the operation was conducted following specific intelligence inputs. Initial inquiries suggest that the explosives were being moved from Bundi to Tonk.
Law enforcement agencies are investigating the origin and intended use of the seized materials, along with any possible criminal links.
