Fog Disrupts in Delhi
IGI flights were operating under CAT III procedures, but due to extreme weather conditions, numerous delays and cancellations were imposed. This also took a toll on road and rail traffic, resulting in long traffic jams and delayed trains at major stations. Delhi’s air quality was very poor, with an AQI of 383. IndiGo, Air India, and SpiceJet issued travel advisories providing updates, refunds, and rescheduling options. Travellers were encouraged to verify their travel status and make advance plans.
