Teenage cricket sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was honoured with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar on Friday at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. The award was presented by President Droupadi Murmu, recognising his outstanding achievement in sports. At just 14 years old, Sooryavanshi has emerged as one of India’s most promising young cricketers, earning national recognition for his performances.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Honoured With Bal Puraskar

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is India’s highest civilian award for children aged between 5 and 18. Addressing the awardees, President Murmu praised their achievements, saying they inspire the nation. Following the honour, Sooryavanshi is expected to focus on international commitments and may join the India Under-19 squad ahead of the upcoming U19 World Cup.
