The Vijay Hazare Trophy is grabbing headlines as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma return to the tournament after long breaks. Kohli is set to play after 15 years, while Rohit makes his comeback after seven, making fans eager to watch them in action. In Bengaluru, excitement was high for a match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, fans may miss out, as authorities have not approved the venue to host the game.
No Fans Allowed for Kohli’s Vijay Hazare Match
Bengaluru Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh said the decision followed a report from the state Home Department, led by G Parameshwara. Due to these concerns, permission for matches at the Chinnaswamy Stadium was denied. The match is now expected to take place at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence, which was earlier kept ready as a backup option for the tournament.
