Punjab Kabaddi Player Kanwar Digvijay Singh Murdered! Key Suspect Killed in Police Encounter

Two days after 30-year-old Punjab kabaddi player and promoter Kanwar Digvijay Singh, also known as Rana Balachauria, was shot dead during a tournament in Mohali, the main accused, Harpinder alias Middu, was killed in a police encounter. Police confirmed that two officers were injured in the shootout. Preliminary investigations reveal the suspect had a long criminal history and was allegedly involved in multiple violent crimes in the region.

Kanwar Digvijay Singh Suspect Killed

Singh was attacked at the Bedwan Sports Club in Sohana while a crowd watched. The shooters, identified as Aditya Kapoor alias Makhan and Karan Pathak alias Defaulter Karan, are linked to a gang targeting kabaddi events. Authorities suggest the killing was aimed at asserting dominance and punishing Singh for his ties to jailed gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria. Police continue to hunt the remaining suspects.
