The Case
The case has been filed by businessman Deepak Kothari, who is the director of Lotus Capital Financial Services. The Economic Offences Wing is investigating allegations that funds were taken on the pretext of business expansion. It is alleged that the money was used for personal purposes. Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have denied these claims and stated that the dispute is civil in nature.
