Air pollution levels in the region have turned severe, forcing authorities to take urgent steps to protect students. With the Air Quality Index crossing the hazardous 400 mark, the Gautam Buddh Nagar administration has ordered major changes in school operations. As pollution worsens across Delhi-NCR, Noida-Ghaziabad schools closed regular classes and shifted to online and hybrid learning models under GRAP Stage 4 restrictions.

Students from pre-nursery to Class 5 will study online, while Classes 6 to 9 and Class 11 will follow a hybrid system. Physical attendance is optional. Coaching centres must follow the same guidelines, and parents are advised to limit children’s outdoor activities until the air quality improves.
