Imagine a perfume so luxurious that it costs Rs 10 crore and comes in a diamond-studded, self-spraying bottle. Dubai has unveiled this record-breaking fragrance named Shumukh, created by Asghar Adam Ali of Nabeel Perfumes. Taking nearly three years and 500 trials to perfect, the perfume is housed in a 3-litre Murano glass bottle within a 1.97-metre display adorned with diamonds, gold, silver, pearls, and Swiss topaz, blending luxury, art, and Middle Eastern fragrance traditions into one extraordinary creation.
Most Expensive Perfume
Shumukh, the most expensive perfume, holds two Guinness World Records: the highest number of diamonds on a perfume bottle and the tallest remote-controlled perfume spray. Its display features 3,571 diamonds, 2.5 kg of 18-karat gold, and 5.9 kg of pure silver, along with pearls and Swiss topaz. The design includes motifs inspired by Dubai’s skyline, Arabian horses, and falcons, combining the city’s heritage with modern luxury.
Luxury Fragrance
The unisex fragrance blends Middle Eastern classics such as agarwood, frankincense, musk, sandalwood, and amber, softened with floral layers of Turkish rose and ylang-ylang. Shumukh not only showcases extreme luxury but also reflects the UAE’s cultural love of perfumes. With its self-spraying technology, the perfume merges innovation and artistry, surpassing previous record-holders such as Clive Christian’s Imperial Majesty and DKNY’s Million Dollar Bottle.
