Saurabh Luthra and his brother Gaurav, owners of Birch by Romeo Lane, the Goa nightclub fire that killed 25 people, have been detained in Thailand. The brothers left India soon after the fire, booking flights to Phuket on December 7, 2025. Indian authorities had asked Interpol to issue a Blue Corner Notice against them. Thai police held them at India’s request, and they are now being brought back to face investigation.

Owners of Goa Nightclub Fire Detained
The brothers fled within an hour of the fire at Birch by Romeo Lane in Arpora, North Goa. Goa Police had asked the CBI to help track them. Authorities in Thailand confirmed the detention, and a process is underway to bring Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra back to India for legal action related to the tragic Goa nightclub fire.
