Ranveer Singh’s latest outing, Dhurandhar, stormed into theatres on December 5, 2025, and has already created a nationwide buzz. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has received praise from critics and audiences alike, with many hailing it as a potential blockbuster. On Day 1, the film registered an impressive Rs 27 crore at the Indian box office, surpassing trade expectations of around Rs 20 crore.
According to Sacnilk, the film recorded a 33.81% occupancy in the Hindi market, starting modestly at 15.49% in morning shows and soaring to nearly 60% by night, reflecting strong word-of-mouth momentum.
Ranveer Singh’s solo commercial return has been closely watched. The film follows Intelligence Bureau Chief Ajay Sanyal, played by R. Madhavan, on a mission to dismantle a terror network in Pakistan, while Ranveer portrays a Punjabi youth recruited from prison to infiltrate Karachi’s underworld.
