Vaibhav Suryavanshi Created History
The previous record holder, Vijay Zol, had scored 109 runs for Maharashtra at 18 years and 118 days in 2013, making Vaibhav’s feat even more remarkable. Remaining unbeaten on 108 off 61 balls, he helped Bihar post a total of 176 for three. His 75-run partnership with Ayush Loharuka, who remained not out on 25, proved pivotal to the team’s performance.
Interestingly, Vaibhav struggled in his first three Elite Group B matches, scoring 14, 13, and 5. However, this extraordinary innings underlines his immense potential.
