An IAF Tejas fighter jet crashed during the Dubai Airshow 2025, resulting in the death of IAF Wing Commander Namansh Syal. The 34-year-old officer was flying the jet when it went down in the afternoon. Syal was known for being disciplined and dedicated. He studied at Sainik School Sujanpur Tira. He is survived by his parents, his wife, who also serves in the IAF, and their young daughter.
