The Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association has lodged a complaint with Mumbai Police after paparazzi allegedly entered Dharmendra’s residence and filmed his family while the actor was unwell. They said the photographers and online portals violated the Deol family’s privacy during a sensitive time. The organisation urged police to take firm action to prevent similar incidents in the future.
IFTDA’s Concerns
In its letter to Juhu Police, President Ashoke Pandit said the paparazzi recorded visuals without consent and circulated them online. The association called the behaviour unethical and requested intervention. The actor had recently returned home after treatment, prompting a heavy media presence outside the Deol residence. Earlier in the day, Sunny Deol confronted photographers and asked them to respect the family’s privacy.
