In a first-of-its-kind honour for any celebrity, Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan now has an entire commercial tower in Dubai named after him, and the big reveal has stunned fans worldwide. Dubai-based real estate giant Danube Properties has launched Shahrukhz by Danube, a 55-storey landmark on Sheikh Zayed Road, marking the first time a property has been officially branded with SRK’s name.
Shah Rukh Khan Receives Landmark Honour
Unveiled at a high-profile Mumbai event, the Rs 4,000-crore project is designed as a hanging tower and offers over 40 premium amenities, with completion set for mid-2029. Calling it a deeply personal milestone, SRK said, “My mother would have been very happy… Papa ki building hai.”
Danube confirmed the tower will carry Khan’s name permanently, making it a unique celebrity tribute in Dubai. Spread across more than 1 million sq ft, the project offers commercial units starting at USD 460,000, positioned on one of Dubai’s most coveted corridors.
