Fresh amla: 6 medium
Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
Jaggery: 2–3 tbsp
Mint leaves: ½ cup
Ginger: 1-inch piece
Water: 1 cup
Method to Prepare the Amla Shots
- De-seed the amla and rinse the mint thoroughly to remove all grit.
- Add amla, cumin seeds, jaggery, mint, ginger, and water to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture using a fine sieve or muslin cloth for a clean, concentrated liquid.
- Pour the extract into silicone ice-cube moulds and freeze for 6–8 hours.
- Each morning, drop three frozen cubes into ½ cup warm water. Stir until they dissolve and drink immediately on an empty stomach or a few hours after breakfast.
