A large crowd gathered at India Gate on Sunday evening to protest against Delhi’s worsening air quality. According to police, nearly 60–80 people were detained in the Delhi Air Pollution Protest, including AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj. Environmentalist Vimlendu Jha claimed that even children were held, though police denied it. Protesters accused authorities of ignoring the ‘air emergency’ in Delhi, calling for stricter pollution control measures. Many parents voiced concern about their children’s health, urging the government to act swiftly.
