Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner, best known as Hawkeye from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has landed in controversy after Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou accused him of sexual harassment and intimidation. Zhou, who collaborated with Renner on two projects titled Chronicles of Disney and Stardust Future, claimed that their professional relationship soon turned toxic.

In a series of Instagram posts, she claimed that during one confrontation, he became aggressive, leaving her terrified for her safety and forcing her to lock herself in a room. Zhou stated that Renner used her professionally, denied their relationship publicly, and refused to promote their joint films.

She alleged that Renner sent her unsolicited explicit images and even threatened to call the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on her.

To support her accusations, Zhou shared screenshots of WhatsApp messages and videos allegedly sent by Renner, which have since circulated online. The allegations have attracted massive attention, painting a troubling picture of abuse and misuse of power in Hollywood collaborations.
