Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira Kapur and Kiaan Raj Kapur, have claimed in the Delhi High Court that the late Sunjay Kapur’s will is bogus. They allege that Priya Kapur, Sunjay’s widow, has taken control of certain personal assets. The dispute highlights ongoing tensions over his estate and has drawn public attention.
Karisma Kapoor’s Children Asset Dispute
During a hearing on Friday, Senior Advocate Mahesh Jethmalani, representing the children, stated that confidentiality in the case was being used to conceal asset transfers. He added that two bank accounts were reportedly emptied and a 6% company share was appropriated.
The court allowed Priya Kapur to submit the asset details in a sealed cover to maintain privacy. Justice Jyoti Singh emphasised that parties should avoid sharing case details with the media.
A copy of the will will also be handed over to Rani Kapur, Sunjay’s mother, under strict confidentiality. Custody of the document will be maintained by the Registrar General of the Delhi High Court.
