Ashram Scandal

The Delhi Ashram Scandal has surfaced. Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Parth Sarthy, is accused of sexually harassing female students. The alleged incidents took place at the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management. Reports suggest he specifically targeted students under the EWS scholarship. He allegedly called them to his room late at night via WhatsApp messages and demanded physical favours. He also threatened them with low marks or failure.

Victims claim that obscene messages sent by the Baba were deleted under pressure from a female warden. Following these allegations, the police conducted a forensic analysis of the students’ phones and questioned three wardens suspected of assisting the accused. Out of 32 female PGDM students interviewed, 17 confirmed harassment, abusive language, and unwanted physical advances. Investigators also discovered that CCTV footage from the institute had been deleted, and the accused had changed his name from Saraswati to Parth.

Despite raids and surveillance across multiple states, he remains on the run. Authorities have issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) to prevent him from fleeing abroad. Multiple licences and diplomatic plates were recovered from his seized Volvo. The accused filed an anticipatory bail plea in a Delhi court, which was denied. Police continue to monitor airports closely to ensure he cannot escape.
