Noida International Airport to Be Inaugurated on October 30, Flights to Begin 45 Days Later

Noida International Airport is all set for its grand inauguration on October 30, marking a milestone in India’s aviation landscape. Union Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu confirmed that within 45 days of the opening, flights to 10 key cities, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata, will commence.

Airlines like IndiGo and Air India Express are already in talks to start operations. The airport, also known as Jewar Airport, will boast seamless connectivity with six major roads, a rapid rail-cum-metro link, and futuristic pod taxis.

Runway trials were completed successfully last December, paving the way for smooth commercial operations. To enhance passenger experience, free Wi-Fi and airport libraries will be introduced soon.

This airport is poised to become a hub of convenience, speed, and modern infrastructure. It is set to reshape air travel for the National Capital Region.
