Dehradun and many areas in Uttarakhand are facing severe flooding due to continuous heavy rain since Monday night. Rivers have overflowed, washing away roads and bridges, and damaging homes and shops. At least 15 people have died, 16 are missing, and hundreds are stranded. A bridge near Uttaranchal University collapsed, preventing people from reaching nearby hostels. Power and telephone lines have also been affected.
