Five ISIS terrorists were arrested in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Telangana. They were part of a sleeper module engaged in making bombs, collecting weapons, and recruiting youngsters through a ‘Khilafat’ model run from Pakistan. Police recovered chemicals, weapons, and electronic devices used for explosives. The arrests demonstrate India’s focus on dismantling extremist networks and preventing attacks across multiple states.
ISIS Terrorists Network Busted
The suspects include Ashar Danish, a postgraduate and bomb-making expert, along with Aftab, Abu Sufiyan, Kamran Qureshi, and Huzaif Yemen. Police seized acids, sulphur powder, ball bearings, a pH meter, laptops, and phones. The group was in contact with handlers in Pakistan. Authorities are continuing investigations to identify other members linked to the network.
